I am much like the Bog I’ve created here.
Bogs are difficult to rigidly define, they derive most of their water and nutrients from precipitation (thus nutrient poor) and are strongly acidic.
My Blog title was serendipitous – a simple misspelling, I left the “L” out of “Blog” when typing – but it was providential, spiritual and divine.
See I too would claim myself to be difficult to rigidly define. I think I may revel in that in fact. From a health perspective, I’m a chocoholic and, of late, have little interest in vegetables – BLAM, nutrient poor. I love rain – and long, ferocious storms even more. I could live in London but not Seattle. I’m obsessed with the Royals thus I prefer the Royal rain (the heretofore mentioned precipitation).
And to round it all out, anyone that has known me – truly known me – for a significant amount of time, can attest to my acidity. Although I am trying to work on that.
So, you see, “Bog” is quite decidedly perfection for me. This space contains my musings, amusings, annotations, reviews and a study of my father’s sermons. (Yes, you read that last part right). And the occasional ridiculous poem or two. At any point devoid of definition, with little nutritional value (meaning no nutritional value), a blanket of rain puddling the pages, and delightfully acid laden.
